Definition of an Arm

[edit]

What the **** is an "arm"? 206.173.157.83

An 'arm' is an extended portion of a lake - in this case, Paynes Prairie. Think of it as the lake version of a peninsula. - Aerobird 02:23, 27 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Google Maps discrepancy

[edit]

Google Maps seems to call this body of water Bivans Arm, as do a few other sketchy web sources. I've redirected it here for now. --Absenteeist 04:01, 26 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
