Confusing

[edit]

This, and the dyk hook, are rather confusing on the layout, using "sides" when "ends" seems to be meant, and "front", which is not very helpful. I suggest it is touched up, using the term "tower end" as a start for orientation. Johnbod (talk) 21:39, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want ... I just thought it was unusual to have the altar next to the main entrance rather than across from it. Hey, maybe I should phrase it that way. Daniel Case (talk) 16:09, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It is unusual, but I found it hard to understand where the altar was originally, and where it is now. It doesn't help that the conventional term for the altar end is the "east end" following the traditional medieval orientation of churches. I've added a sentence in an attempt to make clearer what I hope is right - please adjust as necessary. Johnbod (talk) 17:35, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No problems. Works for me. Daniel Case (talk) 03:11, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any information out there on who sold the land upon which the church stands to Bloomingburgh in 1833? Does the Horton family name ring a bell? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Smokefrog13 (talkcontribs) 19:35, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
