The result of the move request was: moved to Bob Stewart (communist) (page mover nac) Flooded with them hundreds 17:50, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
Bob Stewart (politician) → Bob Stewart (Communist politician) – Ambiguous with Bob Stewart (British Army officer), who is probably the more famous British politician of this name at the moment. Celia Homeford (talk) 13:49, 23 November 2018 (UTC) --Relisting. Steel1943 (talk) 17:35, 1 December 2018 (UTC)
- Comment move to Bob Stewart (politician born 1877) and move the other one to Bob Stewart (politician born 1949) עם ישראל חי (talk) 14:44, 23 November 2018 (UTC)
- See Wikipedia:Naming conventions (people)#Disambiguating: 'Years of birth and death are not normally used as disambiguators'. They're only used when 'the disambiguation can't be resolved in a straightforward manner by more specific qualifiers', such as political party or nationality or other notable profession. Celia Homeford (talk) 15:08, 23 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support a move he wasn't really a (politician) since never elected, (Communist) would be better. In ictu oculi (talk) 17:02, 23 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support The current title is indeed a WP:PDAB and thus fails WP:PRECISE, no comment on where it should go to. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:35, 23 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support per nomination, thus positioning Bob Stewart (Communist politician) as analogous to the proposed form Bob Stewart (Conservative politician) per the still-active nomination at Bob Stewart (British Army officer)#Requested move 6 November 2018. Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 22:21, 23 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support per nom, even if the other Bob Stewart isn't renamed. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:27, 28 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support, no longer the only notable politician of this name. Politician is appropriate in the disambiguator, as he spent his life active in politics, and besides, he did serve on the council in Dundee early in his career. Warofdreams talk 00:14, 30 November 2018 (UTC)
- Move to Bob Stewart (communist). He was not a politician in the conventional sense of holding public office, and "communist" is a more plausible search term. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 10:17, 30 November 2018 (UTC)

- I'm happy with '(Communist)' or '(communist)'. Celia Homeford (talk) 15:44, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, fine with me too. Lower case preferably. -- Necrothesp (talk) 16:41, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
- Since Bob Stewart (British Army officer) will not be moved to Bob Stewart (Conservative politician), I would also join in supporting Bob Stewart (communist). Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 17:47, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
