- Powerstock Station near Eggardon Hill and nearer Nettlecombe than Powerstock.
- Occasional use of Land Rover for first train in final years when unit could not get path from Westbury (apocryphal(?).
- Source; a letter to Modern Railways magazine in about 1974?.
- Gravity working of platform at Maiden Newton (at least one model exists).
- Slip coach from Westbury (or Castle Cary?).
- Last steam train stalled on Powerstock Bank (Verify?).
- Powerstock (and other stations?) lit by hurricane lamps even up to closure.
- Bridport Railway Action Group with suggestions (stations at Loders and Bradpole and Sunday Hiker trains).
- Previous schemes for Bridport involving a Dorchester - Exeter line.
- Powerstock's goods depot and siding Britmax (talk) 17:04, 31 March 2013 (UTC) (Contribution signed some years after its addition).
