Waybacked the references

[edit]

Used archive.org's Wayback Machine on refs in this Bully article (except the change.org webpage which seems to be resisting waybacking .. will try again later). The Wayback version of the CNN video page doesn't seem to include the video file being used as ref. --EarthFurst (talk) 18:11, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Re-tried waybacking that change.org page on the 23rd and today and apparently failed on both days. --EarthFurst (talk) 16:16, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

File:Bully poster.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

[edit]
An image used in this article, File:Bully poster.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

To take part in any discussion, or to review a more detailed deletion rationale please visit the relevant image page (File:Bully poster.jpg)

pre-order on amazon?

[edit]

I thought Wikipedia was a .org commercial free environment. Directing readers to order a product from a commercial entity would seem to be distinctly off-mission. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.124.21.196 (talk) 14:54, 22 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is also an open-source encyclopedia. The foundation does not personally edit the articles. If you see something that doesn't belong, feel free to remove it.68.96.52.9 (talk) 02:31, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Anti-administration

[edit]

The synopsis appears to have been written by editors very much against the school administration. A lot of statements that the school "did nothing" "took no action", etc when the documentary doesn't indicate that but somewhat the opposite. Having seen this film, there were plenty of situations portrayed where the schools took firm action. Probably need some WP:NPOV. -OberRanks (talk) 20:16, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The synopsis is reflective of the content of the film. It is a neutral assessment of potentially biased content. Per WP:NPOV, this assessment follows the rules of "describe disputes, but not engage in them." The article does not name some individuals in the administration who exhibited the most problematic behavior. With that said, the entry could benefit from additional citations and media sources. Was it 2011?

[edit]

BBFC says it was 2001, originally rated 18, downgraded to 12 in 2019 with major cuts.

So was it 2001 or 2011? IMDB also suggests 2001 but it may be a different one from either of the ones BBFC recognises.
