Is there enough information on the topic? I didn't see anything on the German company at all that made up the project. }}

Gas pipeline?

[edit]

Are you sure that the Burgas Alexandroupoli is an oil pipeline? I have a book that includes it on the gas pipelines. And if I remember well, the pipeline was introduced in the Greek Media as as gas pipeline. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.40.207.93 (talk) 17:03, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Move

[edit]

Should'n we move the article to Burgas-Alexandroupolis pipeline. I know the town is spelled Alexandroupoli in Greek etc, but the former is the name of the official agreement and the company behind the project. Hence, it makes more sense of having the article named after the official name. --Laveol T 10:35, 7 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

American objections

[edit]

I don't understand why U.S.A goverment had so strong objections to the construction of the pipeline. We are not during the cold war, but simply the pipeline was against Turkey which wants to control all the transported oil from Black Sea. The relations of Dora Bakoyanni with the American Minister were excellent , but the decision was (as always) against Greece. I don't believe that the construction of the pipeline was against America ,because Greece and Bulgaria are under control. Jestmoon(talk) 14:09, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
