Merger proposal

[edit]

It seems to me that the Burn in and Shakedown (testing) pages really talk about the same thing, shouldn't they be merged? --TheAnarcat (talk) 19:26, 9 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think the articles should be merged. Shakedown is usually associated with a vehicle in motion. Burn-in is the initial period of time during which a device is operated, and is not associated with motion. Binksternet (talk) 20:31, 9 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Binksternet. They should be kept separate. While the concepts may be similar, they have very different origins and are applied in distinctly different contexts. 74.122.9.5 (talk) 17:40, 15 August 2013 (UTC)RANorby[reply]
I also agree Binksternet that they are completely different. It's been a year, so I'm going to go ahead and remove the tags. Someone tell me if I've done the wrong thing. AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 22:56, 3 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
