Famously reclusive
[edit]According to Artnet (November 2014), Noland is "famously reclusive" and has given only one (unapproved) interview in 24 years. Noland regrets that tracking old artwork has become a "full-time thing" for her, keeping her from the studio and the creation of new work. She has not exhibited new work in 15 years. Is there a place for this in the article? Vesuvius Dogg (talk) 16:31, 9 September 2015 (UTC)

Improvements + updates
[edit]Have added quite a bit to the article in the past two weeks, would really appreciate any feedback or edits. The bulk of the article is exhibition- and art-oriented, as opposed to straight biography, as there is basically nothing available to source from on her early life, personal life, or non-art biography. Things left to flesh out:
- Rotterdam '95 Boijmans exhibition
- Add'l critical analysis of Noland's overall style/themes
- Examples and explanations of critical reception (most difficult aspect to explain plainly) - she has been widely lauded and is universally accepted as influential, but her work was also critically divisive from the start. Gathering examples and searching for meta-analysis of reception/criticism.
