Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because of Will Toledo's growing visibility. Toledo's garnered mentions from Stereogum, PopMatters, the New York Times, Rolling Stone, A.V. Club, the New Yorker, Consequence of Sound, NPR, Spin, and Paste Magazine (to name just a few publications) since he signed with Matador Records. The increase in attention he's currently experiencing is enough to win him status as a notable musician, even if someone would like to contest the impact he's made with his self-released albums (also a debatable point, as those albums are what's attracted his internet fanbase). --Xertzed (talk) 01:03, 4 November 2015 (UTC) xertzed[reply]

Singles

[edit]

I can't find any sources that say that "Destroyed By Hippie Powers" was released as a single. Current source is Discogs, and better source is needed. If anyone finds one that should be changed. Catkeatlove (talk) 12:47, 15 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Someone that knows how to do it, should add the Billbord information for their single as well. http://www.billboard.com/song/car-seat-headrest/7604306/drunk-driverskiller-whales — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.223.223.226 (talk) 18:40, 19 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Just What I Needed Controversy

[edit]

I have a very old downloaded version of "Not what I needed" on my ipod, with the actual lines "I don't mind you comin here, wasting all my time" on the breakdown of the song. This version had since been re recorded to be a little more ambiguous to the song due to lawsuit claims, and I've noticed recently that this entire portion of the song has been edited on spotify to just pretty much be white noise. I've been looking for explanations of this online because I assume there's some sort of copyright infringement. Anyway, if anyone has any info on that that would be really cool. 1 Trait Danger

[edit]

There is essentially no information here regarding the side project 1 Trait Danger. I understand this article is about Car Seat Headrest, however, it is still a notable part of the band's history that should be taken into account. Could someone add some information regarding them to the appropriate time periods? Auranium64 (talk) 12:18, 12 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Surely we can get a better one that that? Saejal (talk) 08:08, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
