Spelling Mistake

[edit]

Unfortunately, I misspelled Ms. Mathew's name in the title, and this of course is causing problems with the internal links. How do you change the title of a page once it's created???? Lapisphil (talk) 03:43, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Click the downward facing arrow to the left of the search box. There will be an option to move the page. Jdallen

Outstanding Women of Connecticut

[edit]

Although cited to the New York Times obituary, the current version of the article is wrong in saying that the United Nations named Carmen Mathews one of the most outstanding women in Connecticut. It was not the United Nations that did this, but the United Nations Association of the United States of America (which is an independent non-profit society). The United Nations is an international organization and certainly would not go out of its way to look for outstanding women in just one part of one nation like Connecticut. The NYT published an article about this on Oct. 11, 1987 [1], although it does not specifically name Carmen Mathews. Mathew5000 (talk) 10:17, 5 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
