There was no Romania in 1853
[edit]There was no Romania in 1853. There was a Principality of Wallachia, and a separate Principality of Moldavia. There was Bessarabia in the Russian Empire. There were various areas in the Austrian Empire that would become part of Romania in 1918 or so, and the Dobruja was controlled by the Ottoman Empire. We should be clear as yo where he actually lived and worked in the 1850s, not impose later terminology on then.John Pack Lambert (talk) 00:21, 12 February 2024 (UTC)
