Awards

[edit]

Won 1st at Science Olympiad State for high schoolers at least six or so times in the past seven years? Not sure where that should go. There are two awards that look out of place on the list... I think that that section is for awards for the school and not for individuals. I will be looking for comments before deleting the entries. -- Ben (talk) 00:03, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted the article to a previous one because someone deleted some words from the "awards section", it now is correct (he deleted the part about hugh tompson receiving the excellent teaching award and replaced with receiving the award for some hewbrew thing,) Polygon 07:47, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Under the athletics section, does it still need more citations? I was just wondering if citing the AIA website is enough, or if we need to cite each specific page. 69.254.205.57 (talk) 01:47, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Heroin

[edit]

Didnt something happen, someone got caught using heroin, and now the school does, or plans to do, monthly drug tests, like salpointe is currently doing?I distinctly remember hearing about this. Can someone shed some light on this? Lue3378 01:39, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is a voluntary opt-in drug testing program. It is random, and most definitely not every month. I believe athletes are required to opt-in, and may be tested more often. Obviously, the parents can decide for the student if that is their particular desire. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.32.208.121 (talk) 22:29, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rewrite

[edit]

It is clear that much -- if not all -- of this page has been written by members of the school. This is in violation of Wikipedia policy. It should be rewritten or revised for a less biased perspective. I suggest that whoever rewrites this article take care to present a more comprehensive view of the school. At present, it seems the departments who have taken the time to write their own sections, such as Marching Band, are the departments most represented.Uvula (talk) 22:45, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
