Arms
[edit]The arms shown are of the Barons (and Baronets) Lawrence. Lord Lawrence of Kingsgate was not a baronet and his arms should not have the baronet's badge on them 146.200.94.76 (talk) 07:03, 24 August 2023 (UTC)
- He was elevated to to the peerage as Baron Lawrence of Kingsgate, in 1923. But arms are wrong.
- Those are the arms of his father and oldest brother, he is the 3rd son and a different baron. I think it might be an oversight by whomever added it. Either they didn't realize that arms are unique to the peer and passed by lineage/not shared or they simply got a little confused because of the similar titles.
- Considering he was elevated from the county of Kent, it should be easy to find out which herald under the English college of of arms would have the record, hopefully they keep an online lookup.
