Hmm. I doubt this book received an award by a SS officer 30 years before it was published. This article needs a cleanup =/

Plot length

[edit]

Isn't the plot too long and detailed? Zyxoas (talk to me - I'll listen) 20:31, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

After reading the plot I really hope not. This sounds just plain stupid. We are almost at the end of the shuttle missions anyway, the story is too date. It almost comes off as a goofy Dr. Who episode. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.196.153.73 (talk) 03:31, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Movie Note

[edit]

There will be a Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator movie out in theatres in 2010 it is the sequel to the 2005 film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (film) and also based upon the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory with Gene Wilder in that film and also the Ronald Dahl novels it may be possible that Johnny Depp and all the other cast from the 2005 film will return so will just see what happens.

Criticism section?

[edit]

I'd like to see a section about the critical reception this book has received. What did reviewers say when it came out? What do they say about it now? --Boombasticata 20:43, 27 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox country: Proposal to change to "USA"

[edit]

The infobox for this article reads "Country: United Kingdom". I don't think this is correct. Whilst the author is British, the primary publisher is American, the first publication was in the USA, the story is primarily set around US topics such as NASA's space programme, and the primary characters (Charlie and his family) are revealed to be American (as Grandma Georgina becomes younger, she talks only about American history, which the family immediately recognise as if their own culture). I propose to change the infobox country to read "USA". I realise this may be controversial so I will seek consensus here for a while before making that change. An alternative acceptable proposal would be to remove Country from the infobox altogether. Andrew Oakley (talk) 13:31, 18 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Charlie in the white house

[edit]

I don't think we should re-add the Charlie in the White House stuff since all the sources don’t really say anything and the section about it depends on one source. Jurrasic kid (talk) 21:44, 26 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
