Dubious claim about 100 millions Arab households following Chip Ingram

[edit]

The claim about Ingram being broadcast to "100 million Arab households" looks very dubious indeed. The article refers to NRB, yet the source is not NRB. And the actual source seems very ill informed, talking about "41 Arab countries". There aren't that many Arab countries in the world, so it seems the source simply made up this claim. Unless a proper source satisfying WP:RS is presented, I'll removed the claim.Jeppiz (talk) 22:57, 13 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The NRB seems to still stand behind this claim (NRB 2012). It is indeed an incredible/incredulous claim, which is why I prefixed it with "the NRB stated ...". Regarding the Arab World, either they made a mistake, or they are using a very liberal definition of Arabic nations. Arbitrarily0 (talk) 13:09, 14 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Quite true. Your version is absolutely correct, though I'd prefer to add that they make the claim about 41 Arab countries together with the easily forced fact that this is a mistake. The fact that they either made up or misstated the number of Arab countries also make it very likely that the claim about 100 millions is also errneous.Jeppiz (talk) 15:39, 14 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
