Mean-looking Picture: Just an Accident?

[edit]

Will somebody PLEASE replace this picture of Chris (using one which, also like this one, likely doesn't break copyright)? When I watch his TV shows, I get the impression that he couldn't have a mean bone in his body, and this picture kind-of destroys that for me, even if he's not really being ornery in that picture. It might've just been caught right in the middle of a motion or something, but still, it looks uncharacteristic of Chris!

Plus, as a side-detriment, it's also kind-of blurry, after all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.9.54.93 (talk) 10:12, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Any relation to Roger Kimball? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.115.185.13 (talk) 21:52, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Funny, I get the sense that he can be mean, based on some of the shows that I have seen. That doesn't seem to be all there is to him, but I have noticed a "mean side" come out at points.

Weight Loss

[edit]

A couple of shows ago, Kimball showed a "before" picture of himself and said that he'd lost something like a hundred pounds? It went by really quickly, and he didn't give any details, but it sure would be interesting to know how and when he did it, and how he keeps so slim working around food all day. This is in Season 12 Ep 05. He shows the before and after pictures and mentions he lost "200 pounds". 73.201.115.116 (talk) 18:08, 19 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

NYT Magazine article

[edit]

There was an article about Kimball and the ATK empire in the New York Times Magazine last Sunday (2012-10-14). It includes more details about him that should probably be included in this article. 121a0012 (talk) 07:02, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There appear to be some external links disguised as references in the References section, above the "reflist" tag. They don't pertain to any specific portion of the text, but still contain useful/interesting info. Therefore I propose they be moved to the external links section and reformatted accordingly. Anyone disagree? 1980fast (talk) 02:34, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Kimball's New Venture

[edit]

Christopher Kimball's new venture is Milk Street Kitchen. http://www.milkstreetkitchen.com/ Someone might want to include this in the article with a link to his new website. Qewr4231 (talk) 08:39, 3 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

First wife

[edit]

There is something in the NYT about her, but I cannot view that article. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 23:56, 9 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

(6 years later) Why not add information about Kimball's first wife to this article, in an effort to be more properly encyclopedic? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 15:37, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Source?

[edit]

I am unable to find a reliable source for:

Ex-wife lawsuit

[edit]

One site, not obviously reliable, says he settled with her for $112,000, though it only mentions support for her and kids, not the business claims. Nicmart (talk) 23:59, 18 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
