Possibly incorrect information
[edit]According to Jack Shafer of Slate.com, the use of circle lenses in the US is a bogus trend (http://www.slate.com/id/2259817/). Should I add this as a caveat at the end of the article? Also, sorry if I am doing this wrong... this is my first time.

It's not a bogus trend. The trend was started in Asia and it spreaded to different countries. I don't think the link should be added to the article, since it's an opinion. The article doesn't state any factual information that could be included in the article. --72.152.238.177 (talk) 00:17, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
THERE HAVE BEEN RECENT NEWS ARTICLES ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THESE PRODUCTS. A controvery section should be added. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 170.141.177.51 (talk) 16:31, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
There is already a controversy section in the article. --72.152.238.177 (talk) 00:17, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
"Circle lenses were popular way before Lady Gaga's video even came out. "
[edit]Where the hell did that come from? There was no mention of any video or Lady Gaga before this sentence. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.185.84.11 (talk) 22:17, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
I removed that sentence because the last paragraph stated that Lady Gaga started the trend. --72.152.238.177 (talk) 00:14, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
