Sanskrit older attestation?

Considering The Rig Veda is written in Sanskrit and it's usually dated to around 17th century to 14th century BCE, why is Sanskrit earliest attestation date mentioned in the common era? 2607:FEA8:79D8:5700:D46:492F:2121:D08B (talk) 22:03, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Marathi language earliest attestation date

Hi, good evening. I noticed that my edits were reverted but I wanted to point out that for the Marathi language, the earliest attestation date is 2,200 years ago. Hence i had also attached the official document. The document is by the Indian Ministry of Culture that approves Marathi as an independent language 2,200+ years ago.
