I thought the defining feature of a Convention Parliament is that is not summoned by the Crown but by some alternate authority, such as the senior prince of the blood royal or the previous revolutionary government. J S Ayer 03:00, 18 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

These "Addled Parliament"-type titles are not only retardataire they aren't even very useful, as in this case. I was simply looking for the Parliament of 1689. Isn't that the best title? --Wetman 06:10, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
