Someone has to change that infobox a.s.a.p.! --79.77.209.74 (talk) 17:25, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Errors on the Page

[edit]

Hey, I thought I'd point out that there are a few grammatical errors, stylistic errors ("It said that a Chemist in charge...") and spelling errors (info boxes on the right hand side say both Phthalocyanine and Phtalocyanine) etc. etc. on this page. I don't know if anyone will see this message, but I don't have the time or the knowledge of wikipedia protocol needed to fix this.

Use as a CDR/DVDR substrate?

[edit]

If I'm not mistaken, isn't this compound also used as the recording medium in at least some types of single-use recordable optical discs? Notably (and obviously) those which have a blue or purple cast to their undersides. Is this not worthy of note in the article if it's correct? 146.90.149.117 (talk) 11:43, 21 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Move to Copper phthalocyanine?

[edit]

The compound is more than just a dye, so I suggest that the article be relabeled. This move required administrative powers. --Smokefoot (talk) 17:48, 15 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Pigment family

[edit]

As for PB 15, PB 15:1, PB 15:3...6, the article doesn't make it entirely clear if it's about the entire pigment family or not, but some discussion on the matter would be appropriate regardless.

Meaning of "BN"

[edit]

Would someone familiar with the name "Phthalocyanine Blue BN" please explain the meaning and origin of "BN" somewhere in the article? –MadeOfAtoms (talk) 23:51, 1 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Proposing move to "Copper phthalocyanine"

[edit]

I propose moving this article to "Copper phthalocyanine". See also the 2017 talk section above: "Move to Copper phthalocyanine?". –MadeOfAtoms (talk) 00:06, 2 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Move done. –MadeOfAtoms (talk) 04:59, 5 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
