[edit]

I've added a lot of additional information on the band, including their three albums under the name Cradle of Thorns and the new maxi-single also under the name Cradle of Thorns. If people feel it is appropriate I could this to a not yet in existence Cradle of Thorns article, but it seems kind of silly when it's not a separate band from Videodrone. They just changed their name because, as Ty put it in the audio interview on All Over Again, "[he] sold out". The obvious comparison to Cradle of Filth inspired the name change. I suppose you could argue the new incarnation of Cradle of Thorns is a different band, but the Videodrone album is simply the fourth CoT album, and in fact the name change did not come until after the album was complete, as is also stated by Ty in the same interview.

In fact, maybe we should change the article's name to Cradle of Thorns because it's the name they used for most of the career and it is the current name, though I admit the Videodrone name is the more famous one. Ty was never in Sexart, just a friend who hung out with them in studio and their bands played together, et cetera. Furthermore, Cradle of Thorns never broke up, Ty just changed the name to Videodrone after the Videodrone album was recorded. I think the page should be named Cradle of Thorns since they have more output under that name, and Videodrone should redirect to it. At the very least, there should be a Cradle of Thorns page that redirects to here. Gyrovagus (talk) 00:54, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I added "Style, influences and legacy" in article 22.05.2016. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Deomax (talkcontribs) 17:42, 22 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
