Recommendation

[edit]

This page should be merged with Daydreaming. ZachsMind (talk) 01:58, 6 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Additions

[edit]

I added some descriptive text and some refs. Considered in its larger sense (including prayer, spell-casting) Creative Visualization is a pretty basic technique in all religions. MarvWhitt 18:43, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Clarification

[edit]

It's difficult to see how a concept that arose in 19th C America is the basic technique underlying prayer and casting spells which have been around for millennia. Some clarification is called for. --Simon D M (talk) 10:25, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please explain your reasons for wanting to delete certain passages? Please let us know your rationale. Renee (talk) 13:27, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am not he, but the passage about Russian scientists and Olympic athletes does not pass my smell test. If such a scientific study indeed exists, there should be a better cite than an anecdotal account in a non-scholarly book about martial arts that itself has no annotations. I would love to have a dime for every crackpot book that claims paranormal phenomena have been proven in a lab by Russki scientists. Bustter (talk) 13:48, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Above - good point, but I have also heard/read this elsewhere, so prior to tearing someone apart, maybe you could do a little search, yourself...I will. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Drjammyjams (talkcontribs) 23:46, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Can you put names to some of these "crack pot" books that purtort claims from Russian scientists concerning mental training and its effects on physical performance? Unknown 15:33, 25 March 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 111.69.195.238 (talk) [reply]

Can you quote sources about Russian Olympic athletes study?
