I have the strangest feeling this existed back in December when I briefly worked on this disambig page (since I came to it from Red Mountain Expressway Cut), but according to the logs, User:Martindelaware created it yesterday. Almost like Deja Vu dm (talk) 11:43, 10 March 2009 (UTC) LOLAGE[reply]

cut. term used in cooking.

[edit]

Yesterday I added the use of the term 'cut' as a something used in cooking. My contribution was deleted in the mistaken belief that I only added a definition, as for use in a dictionary. I suggest that the word 'cut' in cooking is not only a definition, but also identifies a specific process with defined results in what's being cooked and a defined technique, all of which justify a Wikipedia entry, and none of which fall within other uses of the term.

You didn't link it to anything, making it a worthless entry. = ∫tc 5th Eye 18:41, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Repeated addition of dictionary definition

[edit]

An editor has been repeatedly adding a dictionary definition for cut. This does not comply with WP:DABNOT. The IP addresse used is 24.188.165.166 which is provided by the ISP Optimum Online (Cablevision Systems) and located in the general vicinity of Wantagh, New York, and also User: Tpolerocks.
