There are at least two places called Dêmqog (bde mchog): In Chinese, one is called Diǎnjiǎo 典角 and is in Gar, Ngari; the other one is called Déjué 德觉 and is in Xoka, Gongbo’gyamda, Nyingchi. See Guójiā cèhuìjú dìmíng yánjiūsuǒ 国家测绘局地名研究所, Xīzàng dìmíng 西藏地名 / bod ljongs sa ming བོད་ལྗོངས་ས་མིང (Tibetan Place Names), Beijing, Zhōngguó Zàngxué chūbǎnshè 中国藏学出版社 1995), ISBN 7-80057-284-6. The official Latin spelling of both places is Dêmqog, so I suggest a redirect; at Dêmqog, there should be a disambiguation for two articles about the two different places - I suggest Dêmqog (Ngari) and Dêmqog (Nyingchi).

It's not a very bright idea to sift through a site like fallingrain.com and create articles from that, if that site is the only source. (Nor is it a great idea to call that site “fallinggrain.com”.) —Babelfisch 03:32, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
