Rewrite

Most of the prior content appeared to be written by employees of the subject of the article and read as a combination CV and advertisement with WP:Peacock language. It used the subject's self-published website and other non-reliable sources too frequently. I have rewritten it to reflect WP:Brevity. It still needs citations from reliable sources. Images

Please review MOS:IMAGERELEVANCE, which says, "Images must be significant and relevant in the topic's context, not primarily decorative. They are often an important illustrative aid to understanding. .... However, not every article needs images, and too many can be distracting." I suggest that five images in the Gallery should suffice to convey the flavor of Roosegaarde's work. Let's pick the most significant ones. User:HopsonRoad 14:41, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

Hi Theroadislong and DGG. I notice the question of notability in the new tag. I feel that, although the article was generated by editors with apparent COI, the subject is notable. Not all the citations are what I would normally recognize as good examples of WP:Reliable, but the outside link, the New York Times article on Roosegaarde, seems to cement notability. my main problem was the redundancy of Studio Roosegarde and the article on him. But at few days ago, Huon redirected the studio article. I agree that for the one article, it should be under the personal name.

FWIW, probably 80% of our current articles on even clearly notable artists are written with COI, presumably from press agents; one symptom is their total avoidance of WP conventions, in favour of the capitalisation etc used in gallery press releases.
