Although he will receive a screen credit (as he has in all of the Alien films), O'Bannon was not working on the new Alien prequel at the time of his death. That was just sloppy "reporting" from the EInsider.com website who probably just glanced at IMDB and made a quick assumption. O'Bannon has not worked on any of the Alien films except the first one, though he continues to receive a screen credit for creating the characters and title monster in all of them. Greetings Wikipedians! I found the discussion of his college years and early work to be sort of muddled in terms of chronology, so I've tried to remedy that. I did not check facts.
