Louise Rennison has written a wonderful series of books in the Georgia Nicolson serie. The series has a few distinctive qualities. It is written for teenage girls but but may also be enjoyed by boys of the same age and parents who have teenage daughters. The books give a good impression about what it was like to be a teenage girl in a British school at the end of the twentieth century. For this reason I think the books should be allowed on the curriculum of foreign students. Not only will it give an insight into the English language, which is used very creatively, but also British culture.

Without giving the plot away, authors should be allowed to make money from their books, I wonder wether it is neccesary to give attention to all the books. The books continue where the last one left off. It may be sensible to combine all the books into one monograph and have the covers in the form of a gallery. In the monograph the main characters and their relationships to Georgia could be described. —Preceding unsigned comment added by JHvW (talkcontribs) 04:44, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
