About him not know it was a Horror Movie
[edit]This is weird and a little stupid, but in the article it says Stanley Kubrick, didn't tell him, it was a horror movie, since he was just a little kid at the time. I wonder how he reacted to that fake 'Shining' trailer that's been going around (you know which one [1])?
-- There is a scene where Danny comes out of hiding in the cupboard, and sees Jack chasing after him with an axe. I would think that this gave him some inkling that the movie was a horror film. (Patrick)
Please have a look at the movie again. Danny Lloyd and Jack Nicholson are rarely shown together in an actual scene. In fact, I think I counted no more than five instances in which they interacted together in any one scene of this movie. Danny mostly worked with Shelly Duvall. If you look closely, each actors scene is done separately from each other and then edited together to create the illusion that they are reacting to each other. If you were unable to come to that conclusion (as I was until I saw your post), then Kubrick accomplished what he set out to do. A master of illusion Mr. Kubrick was. Didn't you watch the "Making of" directed by Vivian Kubrick? I did it last night. There you see Kubrick directing Danny and telling him many times "most scared,Danny...most scared..." ( about the face he was supposed to show). So,I think that you can't say he didn't know it was a horror movie unless you have a heavier proove. Aristarco de Samotracia (talk) 10:57, 8 May 2011 (UTC)

2007?
[edit]The article states that he teaches biology at a community college outside Louisville, but it doesn't say that he started there in 2007. It doesn't give any date whatsoever. Thilion 06:01, 22 October 2015 (UTC)
Actual name
[edit]Hello everybody, as it is easy to presume Danny's acutal name is obviously Daniel (see this cutout: http://www.theoverlookhotel.com/post/116345010481/article-from-the-pekin-daily-times-reporting-that). If there's no objection I'm going to edit the article in this regard. --Robbit (talk) 17:03, 11 August 2018 (UTC)
