Place of Birth
[edit]While Soul Asylum was formed in Minneapolis, where Dave was born. Updated to reflect.
- Dave Pirner himself confirmed that the Wiki page's reference to his being born in Green Bay is incorrect and that he was in fact born in Minneapolis, MN. This confirmation came from a live interview during the Trunk Nation radio broadcast on July 25, 2017. (SiriusXM Radio's "Volume" Channel 106)
Incredibly terrible article
[edit]Given the subject, this is an exceptional terrible entry. Can someone with article writing experience make a proper entry? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.94.193.18 (talk) 03:47, 15 July 2020 (UTC)
Untitled
[edit]I'm sorry, but what does Wynonna's Big Brown Beaver have to do with Les Claypool? This should be explained or the reference, which currently reads like idiocy, should be removed. It was a Primus song, probably written or co-written by Claypool.
- It was an MTV music video, which made sexual comments about a woman named Wynonna, however, the spelling didn't match either of the then-three young, up-and-coming artists in music and acting, but which brought to tears (or close to it) all three women at the time, and so served it's nefarious purpose. It should certainly be removed from the article and if ever mentioned at all, be on the article of one of the three aforementioned women, not on that for Dave Pirner. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 04:37, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
