Title?

[edit]

As Levy is less well known as a chess player than as an AI researcher / pundit, I'd suggest a change of title. David Levy (AI researcher)? 80.2.210.118 (talk) 14:15, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is that really true? He authored a number of chess books in the 1970s. At least early on, his main AI notabiliy was with respect to chess (chess computers and his famous bet). So I think "David Levy (chess player)" is appropriate. Peter Ballard (talk) 01:05, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see anything wrong with naming him as a Chess Player, after all his work in AI seems to have derived from that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ZincBelief (talkcontribs) 13:42, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

sentences/paragraphs

[edit]

The article has too many one sentence paragraphs.

It needs to be rewritten. Bubba73 (talk), 07:56, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

English or Scottish?

[edit]

As a player, Levy has since 1968 played for Scotland. Is there some reason why he is described as English in this article? Bruce leverett (talk) 04:25, 21 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
