I take credit for motivating Lynda to add the photos. Thanks, Lynda. Wikipedia needs more photos! Kd4ttc 03:23, 7 Feb 2004 (UTC) Lynda Mendoza - editor The Official McCallum Observer Print Journal Website: www.davidmccallum.org

Not mentioned here, but on the The Outer Limits it is told that he appeared on that show. 24.76.141.132 07:31, 21 Mar 2005 (UTC)

"He was married to the late actress" doesn't sound right to me - it seems to be suggesting she was dead while they were married. Bmalee 02:02, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

References

I've been trying to flesh out and clean up the article a bit. A major problem is the lack of references in the text. The best online source for information on McCallum is 'David McCallum Fans Online'. They have a huge bank of good-quality material in their 'Words' section, mostly taken from newspapers and magazines and dating from the 60s right through to the present. I reckon most of the facts contained in this wikipedia article could be referenced to articles there. The only problem is that all the articles seem to have an identical URL: http://www.davidmccallumfansonline.com/newdavid1.htm. When you use this as a refernece in wikipedia and try to follow the link back to the article it directs you to the website homepage not the article in question. This is a little beyond my technical know-how. Does anyone know if it is possible to link to the individual articles in the 'Words' section of the 'David McCallum Fans Online' website, rather than just its homepage? Thanks! Selected filmography

As per Wikipedia is not a collection of lists, I have reduced the Filmography section of David McCallum (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) to just the films that have Wikipedia articles, and renamed it to Selected filmography ... people can click the IMDb External link that follows the section to see the subject's full filmography with links to information about each of their films.

Please see the template's talk page for examples of using the {{Imdb}}, {{Ibdb}}, {{Tv.com}}, and {{TV Guide}} templates.

I have also used [[19xx in film|19xx]] tags for the years of the films, since [[19xx]] has little encyclopedic value.

Anonymous edits without comments may be reverted by anyone.

I am placing this boilerplate message on this Discussion page before I actually make the changes, so that I can just put "see Discussion page" in the edit summary, and hopefully not have my edit summarily reverted as vandalism by Some Other Editor.

A-Team

There was an entire episode of the A-Team (from the season when Robert Vaughn had joined the cast) which was full of UNCLE references, since David McCallum was the episode's guest star. Would that considered noteworthy enough? --MikeZ (talk) 09:36, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

MadMen

In the fourth season episode 5 when Sally is caught masturbating while watching a David McCallum scene. In the commentary Matthew Weiner explains the use of McCallum as being popular among adolescents because he is "non-threatening" and handsome". He then goes on to say (incorrectly) that McCallum "just passed away". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.59.197.104 (talk) 07:19, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

Politics?

There is not a word about his notorious Right Wing views, nor the fact that he boasted about leaving the UK to avoiding paying UK tax. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.148.41.82 (talk) 01:52, 8 November 2013 (UTC)

Diablo 3:RoS voicework

I believe David McCallum does the voice work for the Grand Templar in the Reaper of Souls expansion for Diablo 3. The following image, taken ingame during the credits, seems to confirm this: http://imgur.com/CmZWmA7 Halcónico (talk) 23:08, 7 April 2014 (UTC)

missing David McCallum tv appearance?

I just have a question-I was looking for the 60's variety show that David McCallum hosted, but it wasn't listed in his tv credits in Wikipedia. I eventually found it-Hullabaloo in September of 1965. Is there some reason it's not listed? Lsdunn (talk) 22:02, 23 February 2015 (UTC)
