Name ambiguity

[edit]

I'm new to editing articles on Wikipedia, so I won't - I will just inform you that it should also be possible, under the name name David Silverman, to find professor David Silverman: http://www.uk.sagepub.com/authorDetails.nav?contribId=500092 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hognegh (talkcontribs) 13:40, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

-And also the current president of American Atheists. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.204.3.70 (talk) 11:01, 9 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

-Is that the same guy? He looks different in the picture. compare to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BCipg71LbI Tbonetime (talk) 21:09, 11 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

To make matters more confusing, Silverman the Simpsons animator has spoken at American Atheists' convention before. Now I just want to see an episode with guest voice David Silverman of AA. Mark Schierbecker (talk) 03:14, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ethnicity?

[edit]

It would be cool if someone could find some information about him. I would be particularly interested to know if he's jewish. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.119.217.157 (talk) 07:12, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. He is 2600:8807:4059:4800:1DF2:2226:E8CF:8081 (talk) 11:28, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

David SilvermanDavid Silverman (animator) – No primary topic or even a clear front runner. The page views of the animator and the atheist activist are very close (9504 v. 8814) and I expect the activist would come out on top once the misdirected hits are taken care of. I also suspect there are a few other David Silvermans, including the author mentioned above, that would be notable enough to have articles. I checked the New York Times and there are about twice as many articles about the activist as the Simpsons animator. I will replace this page with a disambiguation page after the move. --Relisted. Requested edit

[edit]

Can you add the following to the "College tours" section and then rename said section "public speaking" I have a close personal connection with the release's author and with American Atheists.

Silverman also spoke at the 2014 American Atheists convention in Salt Lake City in April.[1]

I don't see a compelling reason for mentioning this particular visit, when apparently Silverman has visited many campuses and none have been specifically mentioned on this article. If you disagree, feel free to get a second opinion by re-opening this requested edit. Altamel (talk) 04:25, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
