Right-wing paramilitarism in El Salvador → Death squads in El Salvador – These are far more commonly referred to as "death squads". Very few sources use the specific phrase "right-wing paramilitarism", but hundreds of books, including many that are currently in the references column, call them "death squads". - Oppose. Titling these groups as "death squads" seems to go against WP:NPOV. We shouldn't be picking sides in conflicts such as this. Rreagan007 (talk) 16:28, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
- What makes death squads a POV term? It is defined in reliable sources as "Death squads are clandestine and usually irregular organizations, often paramilitary in nature, which carry out extrajudicial executions and other violent acts (torture, rape, arson, bombing, etc.) against clearly defined individuals or groups of people. Murder is their primary or even sole activity."[1] Seems to fit the phenomena described in this article. (t · c) buidhe 02:00, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
- Support no valid oppose reason has been provided, and "death squads" does seem to be the more common term. (t · c) buidhe 02:00, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
