A few career updates

[edit]

Hello, I work for Kaplan, which owns Metis, where Berebichez works as Chief Data Scientist. I'd like to update a few facts about Deborah. Here are the proposed edits:

- Add "data scientist and TV host" to the first sentence. - Change "Occupation" to match the first sentence - Change second paragraph under "Career" to: Dr. Berebichez’ is the Chief Data Scientist at Metis, a leading data science training provider. At Metis she leads the creation and growth of data science training opportunities, including bootcamps, corporate training, professional development, and online programs. She is an active contributor to the national data science ecosystem through public speaking, presentations, and panels at data science conferences. - Add this sentence to end of "Career" section: She is a John C. Whitehead Fellow at the Foreign Policy Association, a winner of the Society of SHPE's STAR Award and a recipient for Top Latina Tech Blogger by the Association of Latinos in Social Media LATISM. I see these additions have been made. Unfortunately, they may be verbatim copies of sentences from Debbie's bio as posted at, for example, at Brandeis or this conference announcement. Although there are limited ways to list simple facts, some paraphrasing may be required to avoid plagiarizing.  —jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 09:10, 6 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

sourcechecked=failed – page captured in archive had moved on and no longer shows the 2013 status as "Global Ambassador". Could not locate the information on the Technovation site. Updated article to reflect that status was from 2013.  —jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 02:59, 10 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
