Scope

[edit]

Hi Andy. A few queries and observations:

  • Could you clarify the intended scope of this article? There are existing articles on, for example, Kinder Scout and Bleaklow which, although they don't have "moor" in their names, are mostly moorland, and are in Derbyshire. Would they qualify?
  • The criteria for inclusion are a bit vague; Mam Tor probably has a few bits of heather on it, but I wouldn't really call it a "moor". Any thoughts?
  • Is the article intended to be more than just a list (and if not, shouldn't it be titled List of Derbyshire moors per WP:LISTNAME)?
  • There may be some crossover with Category:Mountains and hills of Derbyshire.

Happy to contribute, but I'd like to know where you see this fitting. Dave.Dunford (talk) 14:20, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Dave.Dunford: Good questions, thanks; I have no strong views about the answers. It was a red link in an article I created, with no obvious target for a redirect. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 15:47, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
