The discussion is going on about the German copyright law. There is a famous case about the Wrapped Reichstag, where Cristo and Jeanne-Claude sued a professionial issuer of postcards, and this case went up to the Federal Court of Justice. The wrapping art project was considered to be a temporary installation, so only private fotos can be taken but not fotos which are commercially explointed - that is the right of the creator. As the Wikimedia licence for Commons material implies that any use of uploaded meadia is allowed, there might be a clash of interests if indeed in this case (4 years of display in the museum's front garden vs. 2 weeks of a wrapped building) the originator's rights need to be protected. --Gunnar (talk) 17:59, 14 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

German Translation

[edit]

Just in case you want to read the DE references, I do recommend the DeepL-App as this is even better than Google Translate: it gives more precise results without the need to finetune after the translator has done its job. Sounds naturally. --Gunnar (talk) 17:59, 14 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I will try your recommendation. Really, lets see how this goes. --77.123.103.125 (talk) 13:25, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
