similarities to Transmetropolitan and tighter synopsis

[edit]

i am going to write a section that focuses on its cultural relevancy and thematic parallels/similarities between Transmet' and Doktor Sleepless. i'd also like to take the last few sentences of the introduction and place them in a new section entitled "Brief Synopsis"

edit: nevermind, i just wrote the brief synopsis and included an issues section

What are the possablities of techy body modification? for example a faceplate embedded onto the top of ones wrist. the blood pumping through? under? could power a watch(face)that would be interchangeable. Are there any artists/inventers taking this on. I'm not talking about tacky tattoos or over the top piercings, but functional/ digital, analogous body accessories. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.8.221.166 (talk) 05:37, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ancestor?

[edit]

In issue 2 of "Captain Swing and the Electrical Pirates of Cindery Island" (p17 panel 1), Captain Swing says: "Well, then, I give you my real name: Dr Jonathan Rheinhardt." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.226.59.203 (talk) 22:35, 11 July 2010 (UTC) So far, all we have is that Swing appears to be an analogue of the Doktor in his continuity. There are links between their ideologies, names and - to an extent - appearances, but nothing to prove both series take place in the same continuity. Remember Ellis enjoys mind games with his audience. --46.113.249.204 (talk) 15:33, 28 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Temporal ambiguity

[edit]

Issue #14 is not out yet. Latest known promise is "end of 2012". Only the NSA knows how many people search for "Doktor Sleepless 14" every day, and only Wikipedia can put a stop to all this waste of energy :)

Also note that the title of #15 looks like a typo. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.4.233.5 (talk) 18:55, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
