GA

[edit]

Sorry, this is just far too short and underdeveloped to be a {{GA}}. The bulletted list is particularly problematic. But it looks like there are enough references for there to one day be enough information to make a good article. Keep improving it. savidan(talk) (e@) 07:16, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Did you read it? In which respect do you imagine that it could be expanded? I think we disagree here; I for one am not planning to further evolve the article as I think it includes all relevant info from the references listed (note that a lot of them are from the time when the real nature of the 'Dorobo' phenomenon wasn't yet understood). I don't see why the bulleted list would be problematic (I think it's a handy overview), but anyway, I'm not that keen on having it listed as GA so I'll leave it at that. — mark 08:12, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Akie/ Akiek/ /Ogiek/ Okiek/ Mosiro

[edit]

I'm trying to clear up the entries for Akie vs. Akiek vs. Okiek vs. Mosiro. This Dorobo article conflicts with the Ogiek language article, and both are muddied by some of the info from Ethnologue. Any clarifications you can add to these articles would be of great help. Malangali 16:46, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

[edit]

It appears that a good faith article about one of these ethnic groups has been started at The ndorodo people of mount elgon-uganda. It is proposed that this second article be merged into this article.Tobeprecise (talk) 00:30, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I'll work on the 'Mount Elgon people' page in the meantime. I'm quite new here, so can someone tell me how the decision process works for something like this? Lordgrenville (talk) 13:23, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
