It's almost like someone doesn't want to acknowledge certain progress the town is making. They were there, then they were removed. 2A02:8085:7160:300:2CD4:D627:45E3:8548 (talk) 12:32, 5 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

We write a neutral encyclopedia, not a fan page. The info about the bus route was unsourced and the info was was not neutral. The Banner talk 13:58, 5 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That's fine, I get that. But rather than just randomly going around deleting stuff that is of benefit to people, towns and businesses, if you are genuinely trying to make Wikipedia a more useful and better place, surely correcting entries is preferable. After all, people donate because Wikipedia is useful, if it isn't then what? I know Drumshabo very well. I travel there on the bus you deleted to go to the Distillery you deleted. I am now starting to question every Wikipedia entry I have read. If I have to cross reference every Wikipedia entry to verify it, what use is it? 2A02:8085:7160:300:2CD4:D627:45E3:8548 (talk) 20:08, 5 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Just knowing it, is not good enough. The information provided should not be new, it should have been published in any shape or form somewhere else. The fact that the information is sourced is the sheer essence of the encyclopedia. You are free to check all sources provided or just skip them while reading. But when adding information it must be sourced. For the sake of reliability. The Banner talk 22:05, 5 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
