[edit]Dustin was awarded "Best Drunken Skater" of 2008 by Baker Skateboards. He is well known for "seeping" away with tricks off big stair sets.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.203.0.135 (talk • contribs) 00:17, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Notable for?
[edit]As near as I can tell, the subject of this article is notable because (1) he's a pro skateboarder, (2) he likes to ride drunk, and (3) he's got (or had in 2005) some sponsoring deals for shoes and boards and stuff.
Now, #1 seems hardly notable, although if he can make a living skating then good for him. But I know lotsa guys who skate, and they didn't deserve a WP article. #2 is even less notable than #1: my dad liked to fish while drunk; so what? I think #3 might be based solely on #1 and #2, but it's not clear whether those deals are still active, nor how much they were worth five years ago (per the only source I could find), nor what reliable source took any notice of those deals or Mr. Dollin himself.
In short, some drunk skater who got his name on some manufacturer's shoes doesn't seem to meet even basic notability tests. Enlightened arguments to the contrary invited. — JohnFromPinckney (talk) 17:01, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
