This topic is obviously quite well known and with many applications like CGI, mechanical systems, economics, etc. I couldn't find much under 'Dynamic simulation,' but there is a lot more to be found through 'Dynamic System Simulation.' This seems like a decent start: https://www.embedded.com/dynamic-system-simulation/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by I.Elgamal (talkcontribs) 03:47, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@I.Elgamal: Wikipedia also has an article about "dynamical simulations." Is this a synonym of "dynamic simulation," or is it another type of simulation? Jarble (talk) 19:09, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for pointing out this article, I had not encountered it before. "Dynamical Simulation," as it is called in this article, is a subset of dynamic simulations. Though I believe the more common term is Multi-Body Dynamics simulation. Dynamic simulation includes all kinds of simulations that change with time, the article you mention is one example of it.
