The intro

[edit]

I'm the original author of the page ISO 10303-11 and also of http://www.lksoft.com/index.php?id=282. By placing the text on Wikipedia I already have agreed to accept the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) for both, the text and the diagram. Lothartklein 16:10, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't understand why User:Hadrianheugh marked this page as

The source of this page is the international standard ISO 10303-11 as clearly indicated in the first sentence. Also the first sentence clearly says what this thing is about "EXPRESS is the data modelling language of STEP and standardized as ISO 10303-11". So I have to reject these changes. If you don't agree say in detail what you miss. Lothartklein 20:26, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Data modeling modeling language

[edit]

The intro says "data modeling modeling language" sure this should be "data modeling language"? If you want links to both data modeling and modeling language, you can write it like this:

[[data modelling]] [[modeling language|language]]

which renders like: data modelling language —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.212.132.34 (talk) 08:44, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I did want to make a direct link to both data modeling and modeling language in the introduction, but I realize now it can bring this kind of confusion. So I changed it. Thanks. -- Marcel Douwe Dekker (talk) 12:41, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How does EXPRESS relate to other modeling languages such as Entity-relationship model, ORM, UML etc.? -- JakobVoss (talk) 11:05, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
