Merge
[edit]Now I see what Tex Murphy was saying in terms of merging The Codex Series here, rather than the other way around; I didn't know that another distinct series was planned. In that case, I think that both The Codex Series and Forsaken should be merged here, at least until Forsaken obtains more notability independent of the existing popularity of Edgeworks based on The Codex. If there are no objections, I'll do it in a couple of days or so. — TKD::Talk 15:24, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
Don't Merge
[edit]I am a loyal fan of Edgeworks Entertainment, and I feel that since "Forsaken" isn't part of "The Codex Series", and Edgeworks is also now accepting other machinima series' onto their site, so I think differentiating between them is a good idea. R.H._Jesus_Freak40 00:47, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
- In case it wasn't clear, The Codex and The Heretic would remain separate. It's just that The Codex Series does little more than to point the reader to information that's already in those articles. As for Forsaken, it would be merged into Edgeworks Entertainment as a separate section, easily distinguishable from The Codex Series. They would be differentiatied, but within a single article, not over two smaller articles. I just don't think that there's yet enough verifiable information on Forsaken, nor is that series yet notable enough currently, to justify a separate article. — TKD::Talk 02:37, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
- Oh! That makes a lot more sense! Okay, then I say merge, but Forsaken may need it's own article once it starts. R.H._Jesus_Freak40 03:47, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
- Forsaken has been merged. I agree that it'll need a separate article eventually, but not at the moment. :) — TKD::Talk 04:23, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

Removed Deletion Tag
[edit]I removed the deletion tag. Edgeworks Entertainment has received over 80 million hits during its run, making it one of the most popular machinima companies in the world. The blog does not contain a brief mention, it is an entire article from a very respected professional in the blog he then turned into a book, and there are numerous other media sources that cover the company.
That being said, the article does only have one independent source. While deletion is overkill, a few more sources could help the article, so I have provided them. Tex Murphy (talk) 03:13, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
