I am a bit confused

as to exactly what this statement means.

"His style is cited as an influence of Pierre Puvis de Chavannes, Jean-Paul Laurens, and Paul Baudry."

I believe it means that he was influenced by these guys, but . ..... Also, to claim "cited" and then not give a reference is poor encyclopdiapersonship. I am inclined to just remove it, but thought I'd post here first. EInar aka Carptrash (talk) 15:09, 15 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
