can someone move the infobox to the top? Crete44 (talk) 11:10, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
- Crete44 done. That's a bit of an odd multipart infobox so needed {{Infobox weather event/Footer}} at the end to finish it off. Regards KylieTastic (talk) 11:16, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
3 fatalities in Valdosta
[edit]Can someone add 3 fatalities in Valdosta? https://www.walb.com/2024/09/28/3-confirmed-deaths-valdosta-due-hurricane-helene/ Mjrmtg (talk) 13:57, 14 October 2024 (UTC)
This should be merged…
[edit]I think it should be merged HurricaneKirk2024 (talk) 17:35, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
- May you provide a reason? Its effects in Georgia were clearly notable enough. !Insendieum! ✉️ 19:45, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
- I could see why Kirk would think this article should be merged. However, I don't believe the destination article should be Hurricane Helene. Instead, it should be merged with Effects of Hurricane Helene in North Carolina and certain subsections in Hurricane Helene (specifically Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia) into one article titled Effects of Hurricane Helene in the Southeastern United States, similar to what happened with Hurricane Katrina. ZZZ'S 20:01, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose Hurricane Helene is already large enough as it is (56k bytes prose) and the North Carolina article is going to be very much expandable to the point where nothing should be merged with it. It's already nearly 30k bytes of prose. We should leave things alone for now and focus on expanding the content as needed.
