@User:Aciram, Thank you for creating this article. I noticed that she is categorized as a slave owner, but I didn't see anything in the article about it. Is there perhaps a source that could be added that mentions it? Did she inherit slaves from her mother? Bohemian Baltimore (talk) 03:03, 10 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, your'e welcome. Yes, as far as I understand, she inherited her mothers business and that was managed by the help of slave workers and consequently those were included in the inheritance of Eliza, but I should have cited that when I made the article. That was a couple of years ago. I thought I had more references for this article as well, because I certainly remember using more than one. I will add the rest and reference the issue you mention when I have the time. Otherwise I'm sure it can be found by others as well. Its already implic that she was a slave owner since she inherited her mother's business and that business involved slave labor, which I think the excisting reference takes for granted, but I agree - it should be clearly referenced. --Aciram (talk) 15:17, 10 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
