Discovery of vitamin B?
[edit]Should the discovery of vitamin B (and also D) really be credited to McCollum? There's no trace about this in the official biography. [1] He (and Davis) did some groundbreaking work, but this article goes a bit overboard in this respect. Please help to clarify. -- Buckiboy (talk) 05:45, 20 February 2016 (UTC)
- Hello. I agree that Day's biography might be a little over the top. According to this article by Kenneth Carpenter, yes, McCollum should be credited for A, B, and D. Unfortunately Carpenter omits Davis, who was a student at the time yet often receives credit. Hope this helps. -SusanLesch (talk) 02:56, 11 June 2016 (UTC)
- Woops. Carpenter does give Davis credit here. -SusanLesch (talk) 03:02, 11 June 2016 (UTC)
Archive of cuts
[edit]Hello. I cut a few refs that were all citing the first sentence. Maybe you will want to use them. -SusanLesch (talk) 01:47, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
Re-use refs
[edit]Consider using the "ref name=" approach, there are dozens of refs that can be reused here which would trim the Refs section considerably. The Rambling Man (talk) 07:29, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
