@Seascic : Hi, There are equivalent pages for Lackluster, Proem, Machinedrum, Brothomstates, etc. These are all electronic musicians. Furthermore, Esem has been an important part of both the independent electronic music scene, and the demoscene, for over 10 years already? I do not understand? Please could you clarify why this is so quickly marked up for deletion? Thanks! ( Dnse (talk) 22:49, 27 July 2008 (UTC) )
I've been a follower of the demoscene for a decade and a half and am quite familiar with Esem and Stereoman. This deletion nomination doesn't make sense to me. Muncadunc (talk) 11:42, 12 August 2014 (UTC)
@Aeternus : Hi, This is one of a handful contemporary electronic musicians from Bulgaria, and an important part of demoscene history. It is inexplicable to me that you have also marked for deletion the Demo, C64 Demo, Amiga Demo, 64K Intro, and other demoscene and scene party-related pages?? Dnse (talk) 11:54, 12 August 2014 (UTC)
- Hi, I noticed that much of the demoscene-related articles are in a poor condition and fail to meet many Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Most of them suffer from heavy dosage of original research, and some of them fail to meet WP:GNG and other specific notability guidelines. Most of these articles don't concern the general public, so they have been left like that for years, and no improvement has been made. As much as I love and respect demoscene (especially the 90s), I have to put these feelings aside when I edit Wikipedia. So do you. --Λeternus (talk) 19:07, 12 August 2014 (UTC)
- @Aeternus : The article has been edited. Secondary sources have been added. Please, see the information on radio features, including the John Peel show on UK BBC Radio1, Austrian national radio FM4 (ORF), Radia network, regarding WP:GNG. Much of the demoscene is now historical? So there isn't much new information to add. Dnse (talk) 19:55, 12 August 2014 (UTC)
- Good. Historical articles must satisfy Wikipedia policies too, including those related to demoscene. --Λeternus (talk) 20:02, 12 August 2014 (UTC)
