specs

[edit]

Where do the weights, wing area and speed come from? They are not in the aviafrance source quoted. The weights don't look right: only 60 kg for two people? Liron's book agrees on crew, span, length and height but has no other numbers. Cheers,TSRL (talk) 16:22, 24 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I added a ref and changed the specs. Samf4u (talk) 20:01, 24 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Contemporary article

There's a 1912, two page piece in L'Aérophile at http://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/bpt6k6551989z/f4, though it has no numbers.TSRL (talk) 16:43, 24 August 2015 (UTC) Having peered at this for a bit I've realised photo (p.555) and three-view (p.554) show rather different aircraft, despite both being labelled Farman 14; the one in the photo has a foreplane and a differentlt shaped rudder. These pre WWI machines are either an exciting puzzle or a nightmare, depending on mood.TSRL (talk) 17:16, 24 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
