How come googling "El Morro or Port San Juan Light" comes up with no pages? --ZeroOne 23:29, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK, apparently Google has not indexed this one: http://tunapointlighthouse.homestead.com/prlights.html --ZeroOne 23:41, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

For google to index it properly it needs to be titled properly....(see next section).Skookum1 (talk) 05:56, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Move/rename or split

[edit]

I cant' tell from reading the article is the El Morro Fort (Fort El Morro?) is the same thing as the lighthouse, or if the lighthouse is part of the fort; it sounds like Fort San Cristobal is, too - all part of the Historic Site; but if El Morro is a fort it needs a separate article from the lighthouse, or one of the two in the title needs to be a redirect to the other. There are other El Morros, in Acapulco and in San Luis Obispo, to think of only two off the top of my head, and I'm about to write a Port San Juan (British Columbia) stub, and there is probably a need for Port San Juan (disambiguation).Skookum1 (talk) 05:52, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And also of course El Morro (disambiguation). So it is the fort, although not quite its proper name (went to the link). There's at least one other Port San Juan, more like three I think....worldwide that is, and non-US.Skookum1 (talk) 05:54, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
looking at the Fort El Morro redirect's destination article it's pretty clear that this article is abhout the lightouse as a material/historical fact only; might even be a Category:Moorish Revival lighthouses for all I know, but the El Morro part of the article exists in a well-written and full-blown article; El Morro is to bev mentioned here as teh site of teh lighthouse, but this article is only incidentally about El Morro; it should primarily discuss/describe the lighthouse.Skookum1 (talk) 05:59, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Date of picture

[edit]

If there was a second lighthouse built in 1876 the picture cannot be circa 1898 AND the original lighthouse. — Preceding unsigned comment added by RAMPG (talkcontribs) 22:55, 3 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
